Be My Valentine

I am a happily married man, yet I am still on the hunt for new partners.  Before you jump to any conclusions, let me clarify. I seek New Business Partners.

The lifeblood of every business is finding new leads that fit the business’s portfolio.  These leads come in a variety of ways.  We have a dedicated sales force that does a great job of working their respective industries and networks.  We have an outstanding marketing department that makes sure our image and message is represented correctly.  But invariably, it seems the best leads come from our business partners that recognize an opportunity that fits First National Technology Solutions.

Similar to dating in many ways; you meet people at work, at the library, at your favorite watering hole.  But it seems the best dates come from friends introducing you to their friends.  Of course, blind dates are an option, but it’s always best to get a chance to vet one another before you make a commitment to go to dinner.

Partners are the same. We have outstanding partnerships with IBM, EMC, Cisco, VMware, CDW and others.  When one of these partners calls me with a lead it always piques my curiosity, as these partners really understand us. Typically, these leads are qualified and the partner has an existing relationship we can leverage.

New partners take time and nurturing.  I am always interested in a conversation with new potential partners to understand how we “date” in a mutually beneficial way.  It’s a dance really.  Conversations and understanding what makes each other happy in the relationship can lead to a great partnership.
