To keep with the theme of fear it seemed appropriate I write this week’s blog too since it is so close to Halloween. Halloween, once referred to as All Hallows Eve, was celebrated by lighting bonfires and wearing scary costumes to ward off roaming ghosts. Today it has evolved into more social gatherings, costumes and sweat treats, marking the beginning of fall, shorter days and colder nights.
Many businesses use this as a kick off to spikes in web traffic, increases in processing volumes, gearing up for the holidays and preparing and planning for the New Year. This is when we see many businesses scrambling to make sure they have enough capacity to handle black Friday shopping and struggle with staffing because of holiday hours, upcoming vacation time and the dreaded flu and cold season. See how one retailer eliminated the headache of the holidays by implementing a cloud solution – eliminating the fear of outages, downtime and capacity ceilings.
Don’t let fear get the best of you – look ahead to a brighter, technology filled future with cloud computing.
