FNTS Named a Mainframe Leader

A leading global technology research and advisory firm that compiles annual research reports, ISG assessed 54 enterprises in the U.S. and 29 in the U.S. Public Sector and named FNTS a Leader in quadrants for Mainframe-as-a-Service (MFaaS) and Mainframe Operations. According to the reports, only a few IT providers qualified for the Leader quadrants, which is the highest recognition. The reports describe Leaders as managed services providers with comprehensive solutions, strong market presence, innovative strength and competitive stability.

Significant Growth in Supporting Highly Regulated Industries

FNTS has significantly grown its mainframe services business with most of its mainframe clientele in highly regulated industries, such as financial services, which is challenged with regulatory security standards, licensing costs, budget constraints and maintaining skilled staffing to operate mainframes into the future.

Last year, FNTS was named a Rising Star for both mainframe categories in ISG’s Americas report. In the U.S. Public Sector report, FNTS was identified as a Rising Star for MFaaS and Product Challenger for Mainframe Operations. In 2023, FNTS was named a Rising Star for MFaaS and Contender for Mainframe Operations in the Americas sector.

"Over the past three to four years, we have gained momentum to outpace the competition and solidify our growth as a leading provider of mainframe solutions,” said FNTS President Kim Whittaker. “Our dedicated team of certified IT professionals combine more than 1,000 years of mainframe experience. We look forward to our continued collaboration in serving industries that need to modernize their technical footprint, augment staffing and provide flexibility to adapt solutions as client requirements change.”

To further support growth in the U.S. Public Sector, FNTS has recently met the requirements to offer mainframe and cloud services on the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule for Federal and SLED (State, Local, and Education) contracts to expand its government business opportunities.

“FNTS has experienced significant growth in its mainframe services business while pursuing aggressive revenue goals,” said ISG Lead Analyst Peter Crocker in the U.S. Public Sector report. “Its focus on collaborating with customers in highly regulated industries gives the company a competitive advantage in the public sector. FNTS’s strong security posture, combined with a focus on cost reduction, positions it as a leader in providing mainframe solutions to the SLED market.”
